Accurate quantification of triclosan in each batch is essential, usually achieved through High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Similarly, azadirachtin, the active ingredient in neem oil responsible for its preservative properties, is also found at around 0.1%, with its concentration varying based on the source of the neem oil. This compound is similarly quantified using HPLC. Additionally, preservatives in paint formulations require strict monitoring, as their concentrations may deplete over time, necessitating consistent evaluations using HPLC.
